Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Efi obtained her BFA from the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied painting, sculpture and graphic design for five years. After moving to New York, as a Fulbright Scholar, she received her MFA in Illustration from School of Visual Arts. She currently lives in NY, working as a freelancer.
